South Carolina Foreclosures are up 211.97%

Wow, is all I can say. According to a report released by RealtyTrac foreclosures are up 121% since the second quarter of 2007 and there is a 14% increase since the second quarter. This gives us a total of 739,714 properties in foreclosure. Visit RealtyTrac for the full report

This amount of foreclosures mean that 1 in 171 household received a foreclosure filing during this past quarter.

California and Florida seem to have had the most foreclosures in the country with those two states making up 16 out of the top 20 US metros with foreclosures.

South Carolina foreclosures are up 211.97% since the 2nd quarter of 2007.
