This is all depends on the vacation resort you purchase in. In some
resorts this may not be allowed at all, in others you may be able to
however you will still owe the vacation management company their full
fees.
In some cases, which is normally the best case, the vacation management
company will work with you allowing you to book your condo yourself only
paying them a small fee for check in/out and cleaning.
If you want this to be a hands on investment this could be the perfect
scenario for you. The management company would be there incase of any
emergencies and to make sure your guests get checked in/out property and
to clean the unit after they are gone. They also can make sure your
rental procedure complies with any local and state laws.
Depending on what your intentions are these would be questions you would
need to ask before signing any vacation rental management agreement.
Most agreements are binding for a certain time period and require a fee
if the agreement is terminated early. |
