Vacation Condos have been more popular that ever. Many of the baby boomer retirees have been looking at Beach Vacation Condos as their Escape Properties. Places
they want to go and enjoy life play golf on championship golf courses and walk on sandy white beaches.
Often many of these people are looking to get out of the cold weather during the winter months, but the warmer months of the year they are content with being close to family and

Many times Vacation Condos are referred to Condotels or Condo Hotels. The reason for this is that they are often in resorts that are operated like high end hotels.

restaurants, water parks, gyms, conference rooms and any other amenity imaginable.

When looking to purchase a Vacation Condo there are several things to take into account.
1.You will first want to decide if this is something you want to use often or is it mainly a real estate investment.
2. How big of a unit do you need? Of course if it is going to be yourself and a spouse then a 1 bedroom vacation condo maybe plenty big enough. If you plan to use it
often and have a lot of friends and family visiting you may want to look at one of the larger units. In many areas you can purchase extremely large 7 and 8 bedroom vacation condos.
3. What amenities do you normally enjoy? If you enjoy swimming you may look for an indoor swimming pool. Many vacation condo resorts have gyms, restaurants etc.
4. Is vacation condo rental income important? If you are not planning to use your condo often and intend to rent it to vacationers you may want to check the rental
history of the resort. Often past incomes and average incomes for vacation condos are available to people looking to buy a condo. Many times Condo Hotels that have large flag such as
Hilton many times will produce more income than those without flags.
