Pet Friendly Condos in North Myrtle Beach

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 | Comments Off

Now days it is getting harder and harder to travel with a pet. There are several Pet friendly condos in North Myrtle Beach. With Myrtle Beach being the family place to travel you want to make sure you can bring the whole family. Here are five tips on traveling with your pets.

1. Always check with the hotel before assuming they will allow your pet. Many hotels do not allow pets at all. In Myrtle Beach many of the condo hotels will not allow pets either. So it is best to check instead of showing up and possibly having to leave.

2. Make sure you have a list of the Emergency Veterinary clinic in the area.

3. Check the local laws. During certain times of the year dogs are not allowed on the beach in Myrtle Beach.

4. many animals do not travel well in cars. You may consider speaking to your vet about sedatives. If your pet gets car sick you may consider some motion sickness pills. But check with your vet and see what your best option is.

5. During the hot summer here in Myrtle Beach there have been many incidents where people have left their pets in cars. With the summer heat reaching in the low hundreds some days we strongly recommend you do not leave your pet in your car.
